Generator Options

  • Universal ANTHEM - The ANTHEM operates in three user-friendly modes; APR (Anatomically Programmed Radiography), 2 point or 3 point technique set-up and allows customization of operation to meet the needs of the particular practice and the preferences of the technologist. Simply choose the region of interest, select the desired examination, then select patient size to display the pre-programmed technique. The ANTHEM's programming process allows authorized personnel fast modification of the programmed mA, kV and/or time.
  • Universal HE425 - The Universal HE425 400 mA microprocessor controlled generator was designed to deliver accuracy, safety, reliability, quality and ease-of-use for the value conscious buyer. The added power enables use of shorter time to stop motion and provides peace-of-mind in penetrating patients that conventional 300mA generators typically cannot accommodate. The HE425 is an ideal generator for use in hectic clinics, private and group practices.

  • Table Options

  • Elevating: EV 650 Elevating, Four-Way Floating Table - Universal's EV 650 is a rugged 4 way float top elevating table designed to produce high quality images with effortless patient transfer and positioning. The EV 650's float top was designed to support up to 650 lbs. and allows for the top to go down to 22.25" above the floor for safe and comfortable loading of a full range of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics and mobile to immobilized. The extensive travel eliminates the need for step stools thus providing a safe environment for both patient and operator. The operational table height is adjustable at time of installation for ideal operator comfort and transferring gurney patients onto the table and back again with ease.
  • 4-Way Floating: FTT Four-Way Float Top Table - This sturdy table is ideally suited for a variety of general radiographic needs including small hospitals, clinics, ambulatory care centers and private offices. The floating table top glides freely on a precision roller bearing system and can support patients up to 500 lbs.

  • Tubestand Options

  • Floor Mount: FST Free Standing Tubestand - This tubestand is ideal for a complete range of radiographic procedures and eliminates the need for costly room modifications. The FST utilizes a low profile, standing rail for support and can be installed in a room with a ceiling height as low as 87”.
  • Floor/Ceiling Mount: 3308B Rotating Tubestand - Universal's rotating tubestand is the answer for delivering quality and versatility at an affordable price. The design criteria was to deliver a cost effective structure that incorporated rigidity, ease-of-operator-use and the ability to perform a variety of views, from skull to weight bearing, without the use of a stool.

  • Bucky Options

  • VS200 Vertical Wall Stand - Designed specificaly for clinical upright radiography, the VS200 vertical wallstand is a stable film platform. The VS200 meets all the requirements for upright radiography. The image receptor lowers to floor level to permit weight bearing studies. Side mounted patient handgrips aide in stabilizing the patient.
  • VS100 Vertical Wall Holder - Designed specifically for upright radiography, the VS100 vertical wall holder meets the requirements of hospitals, clinics, ambulator care centers, HMO's, group practice and private offices. Extensive vertical bucky travel enables the user with rapid positioning of the patient. The bucky lowers to floor level to permit weight bearing knee and ankle exams.
  • Del Medical/Universal ANTHEM

The ANTHEM operates in three user-friendly modes; APR (Anatomically Programmed Radiography), 2 point or 3 point technique set-up and allows customization of operation to meet the needs of the particular practice and the preferences of the technologist. Simply choose the region of interest, select the desired examination, then select patient size to display the pre-programmed technique.

The ANTHEM's programming process allows authorized personnel fast modification of the programmed mA, kV and/or time. When the 2 point operation of setting mAs and kV is used, the software will automatically choose the highest mA and shortest time to reduce motion and deliver high quality images. The traditional 3 point selection of kV, mA and time is provided to accommodate the needs of specialized views and the preference of some technologists.
