Radiation Shielding
Services
We are able to obtain the physicist evaluation report
for lead shielding requirements for your x-ray room.
In
addition to our equipment services, Spectrum will
provide the lead calculation report for your x-ray room
lead-shielding requirements.
X-RAY
ROOM LEAD-SHIELDING Spectrum provides installation for
all shielding for your x-ray room in accordance with the
lead calculation report. Furthermore, if required, we
will assist you in filing the report with your local
health department. We can provide all types of
protective shielding.
Silver Recovery
Spectrum
X-Ray offers a comprehensive line of
silver recovery products
and can install and maintain in-line silver recovery
systems.
We also
offer complete services in collecting and transporting
liquids containing waste silver materials (typically
found in film fixing agents) to a state registered
containment facility. There, the liquids are processed
in an electrolytic recovery unit, which extracts the
toxic silver (99.99%) from the fixer agent allowing for
safe and environmentally friendly disposal of the
